We come from all walks of life. We have different jobs, different education levels, different tastes and are of different ages – but – we are a Christian Church. A gathering of people, saved by Jesus, who believe the bible, and meet and serve together in order to worship, learn, share, and express the joy of our salvation.
Our strengths lie in biblical teaching and fellowship. Our church strives to be faithful to the message of the Bible and to glorify God in simple and dignified worship. We cherish every opportunity to show a warm welcome to visitors and share the message of the Gospel with them.
Although Jesus is the one true head of the church, we believe that the Bible teaches that churches should be governed by a body of elders, rather than by a single figure of authority. These elders are elected by the congregation and are responsible for the teaching, direction and health of the church. This structure is known as the Presbyterian form of church government.
As a ‘Reformed’ church, we believe that you can be made right with God;
• by Christ alone
• by grace alone
• through faith alone
• as recorded in the Bible alone
